Brooklyn Heights Townhouse

Located in a historic Brooklyn Heights neighborhood, this 1830's Greek Revival rowhouse was transformed by Kevin Dakan Architect into an airy, spacious and inviting home for a young family. An elegant architectural design thoughtfully incorporates custom millwork into the home's interior, providing ample storage for a modern lifestyle. Southside Workshop Inc. fabricated all architectural woodwork, including the kitchen, the library bookcase and paneling, the built-in cabinet in the playroom, master suite wardrobe and bathroom vanities.  Hand-crafted cabinets have inset doors and drawers with a simple stepped profile to create depth. The fabrication phase of the wall to wall, floor to ceiling custom cabinets required close coordination between the general contractor, Urban Builders Group, and Southside Workshop Inc. to ensure a seamless fit during the installation. All millwork was hand-brushed white, creating a stunning, timeless interior. The clients were delighted to move in their masterfully renovated home.
